Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Gastroenterology

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient coverage, including rounding and consultations.
• Perform ERCP and other standard endoscopic procedures.
• Handle emergency call from the Emergency Department.
• Work collaboratively with a team of 3 inpatient APPs dedicated to GI.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and documentation in Epic EMR.
• Participate in orientation and training as required.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• KY medical license is highly preferred; IMLC accepted.
• Experience with ERCP procedures is mandatory.
• Current ACLS and DEA certifications.
• Clear malpractice history preferred.
• Availability at the time of name clearance is required.
• Self-Query NPDB report dated within the last 30 days is necessary.

License and Certification Requirements:

• ACLS and DEA - Required
• Clean malpractice history - Highly Preferred
