Gastroenterology Opportunity Near Kansas City

Step into an established gastroenterology practice with immediate procedural volume and a built-in patient panel. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity within a respected community hospital setting serving a growing college-town and retirement population. If you're looking for strong earning potential, advanced procedure volume (ERCP & EUS), and long-term stability, this role offers both professional and financial upside.


Practice Overview

  • You'll join a multi-specialty group building toward a four-physician GI team, supported by 4 experienced APPs
  • Immediate volume available due to retirement of a long-standing physician; inherit an established patient panel
  • Full spectrum of GI procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, SBCE, manometry, and more
  • 1:4 call covering inpatient and ED consults; hospital-based endoscopy suite with streamlined clinic-to-procedure workflow


Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm schedule
  • Balanced clinic and endoscopy time with 8-10 patients per half-day in clinic
  • 1:4 call rotation with call compensation included


Compensation & Benefits

  • $650,000-$700,000 guaranteed base salary in year one
  • Production incentives after year one with long-term earning potential approaching $1M annually
  • $50,000 sign-on bonus plus relocation assistance
  • 37 days of PTO (including CME), $6,500 CME allowance, full malpractice with tail coverage, comprehensive benefits, and eligibility for federal student loan forgiveness


Candidate Requirements

  • MD or DO; board eligible or board certified in Gastroenterology
  • ERCP and EUS required (fellowship training required for new grads; experienced physicians actively performing may qualify)
  • Open to U.S. and international graduates; J-1 and H-1B sponsorship available
  • Interest in program growth and collaborative practice environment
