- Other Details: We are seeking a locum gastroenterologist to provide coverage from June 12 at 7 a.m. through June 19 at 7 a.m., with additional ongoing dates as needed. The schedule includes patient contact hours from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m., with 24-hour on-call responsibilities and 8 hours on site. Inpatient responsibilities are required, with support from two advanced practice providers, though supervision of APPs is not expected. The practice offers colonoscopy, EUS, and ERCP procedures, with access to medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy services. The average daily hospital practice census is 10–12 patients, with APPs assisting in rounding.

Job Responsibilities
* Manage an average daily hospital census of 10–12 patients with support from APPs
* Respond to 24-hour on-call duties, including 8 hours on site
* Coordinate care with advanced practice providers and other hospital staff
* Ensure accurate documentation and patient management during coverage
Qualifications
* Experience performing colonoscopy, EUS, and ERCP procedures
* Ability to manage inpatient gastroenterology patients independently
* Prior experience working with APPs in a hospital setting preferred
Working Hours
* On-call: 24-hour coverage with 8 hours on site
* Coverage dates: June 12 – June 19, with additional ongoing dates as needed
