Palm Beach County, Florida – Locums Gastroenterology Opportunity

• Locum tenens opportunity

• Start date: ASAP – ongoing

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible gastroenterologist

• Inpatient work only

• Weekend call coverage

Client Coverage Needs

• April 10–13, June 26-29 - potential future dates may arise - must be able to work at least one of these weekends in order to be considered

Schedule

• 24-hour call coverage: Fridays 5:00 PM – Mondays 7:00 AM

• Very low patient volume

Clinical Details

• Bread and butter gastroenterology cases

• ER emergencies (GI bleeds, obstructions, etc.)

• Round on your own patients

• Perform emergency consults (approximately 7–9 consults per 24 hours)

• No advanced procedures required

• Solo GI coverage (no APP support)

Technology

• EMR: Epic

• Provation used for GI procedure documentation
