An established physician-led multispecialty medical group in the scenic Hudson Valley is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a collaborative and patient-focused practice in New Windsor, New York.
This opportunity offers a 100% outpatient practice with no inpatient responsibilities, allowing physicians to enjoy a predictable schedule while delivering high-quality gastrointestinal care. The practice features a modern ambulatory endoscopy center, an established referral network, and strong collaboration with primary care and specialty physicians.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of GI disorders including GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, hepatitis, pancreatitis, and functional bowel disorders
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to coordinate patient-centered treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, laboratory studies, and imaging
• Educate patients regarding GI health, treatment options, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation
• Participate in collaborative care initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications
• Completion of accredited Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active New York State Medical License
• Current DEA registration
• Minimum 5 years of Gastroenterology practice experience preferred
• Proficiency in standard endoscopic procedures
• Strong communication, collaboration, and patient care skills
