Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Gastroenterology in Richmond, VA

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide weekend hospital call coverage from Saturday to Sunday.
- Perform outpatient gastroenterology and internal medicine tasks.
- Conduct various procedures including colonoscopy, endoscopy, and biopsies.
- Interpret esophageal manometry and handle related procedures.
- Manage and perform endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and ERCP.
- Engage in clinical areas involving adult patients in a hospital setting.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Epic EMR.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology - Required
- Valid Virginia medical license - Required
- Ability to perform ERCP - Required
- Clean malpractice history - Required
- Clean background check - Required
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within the last 30 days - Required
- Flu shot - Required
- COVID vaccine - Highly Preferred
- Availability to cover open shifts - Required
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology
- Virginia state medical license
- ERCP Certification
