Job description
Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Physician - Gastroenterology to provide locum services in Columbia, South Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a GI specialist looking for flexible scheduling and a rewarding work environment. Coverage is needed May 4, 2026, through June 5, 2026.
Job Details:

Case Types: Upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and inpatient consults. (ERCP/EUS are NOT required; no advanced procedures needed).

Setting: Floating between an outpatient endoscopy center and a hospital for consults/procedures (facilities are located across the street from one another).

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 07:00–17:00.

07:30–15:00: Outpatient procedures.

15:00–17:00: Inpatient rounding and procedures.

No call required.

Support: Independent practice within the Prisma Health Parkridge GI Float Pool.

EMR System: Epic.
Requirements:

Board Certification: Gastroenterology Required.

State License: South Carolina license required

Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience required. Must have a clean background and NPI.
