Locums – Columbia, South Carolina, Gastroenterology (Float Pool) Openings

Coverage Needs:

• May 4–8: 2 GI providers

• May 11–15: 3 GI providers

• May 18–22: 3 GI providers

• May 25–29: 3 GI providers

• June 1–5: 2 GI providers

Clinical Role:

• Schedule: 7:30a–3p outpatient procedures; 3p–5p inpatient rounding/procedures

• 10-hour day (7a–5p total commitment)

• No call responsibilities

• Practice setting includes an outpatient endoscopy center with hospital consults and potential procedures

• Float between two facilities located directly across the street from one another

• Adult patient population

• Patient volume: 3–5 patients per day

• 2–3 procedures per week

• No advanced procedures required

• ERCP and EUS not required

• Required skills: upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, inpatient consults

• EMR: Epic

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology required

• Active South Carolina license required

• BLS and ACLS required

• DEA required

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
