Join Our Team as a Gastroenterology Physician – Make a Difference in Patient Care
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gastroenterology Physician to provide exceptional outpatient care at a reputable endoscopy center and affiliated hospital. This vital role involves performing outpatient procedures, consulting with adult patients, and contributing to a collaborative healthcare team. Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
- Proven expertise in upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and consults
- Active medical license in South Carolina
- DEA certification
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
- Strong communication and patient management skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in outpatient and hospital settings
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with ERCP/EUS procedures (not required but advantageous)
- Familiarity with outpatient endoscopy workflows
- Bilingual abilities or multicultural competence
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of post-residency practice in gastroenterology
- Prior outpatient and hospital consult experience
Other Requirements:
- Valid South Carolina medical license
- Background clearance and clean criminal records
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Availability for scheduled shifts from May 4 through June 5, 2026, across multiple weeks
- Must have active BLS and ACLS certifications
- Travel-related reimbursements as applicable
