Position Overview
One of our Partners in South Carolina is seeking Board-Certified Gastroenterologists for outpatient endoscopy and inpatient consult coverage within their GI Float Pool.
This opportunity offers Top 15% Gastroenterology locum pay in the Southeast (2026 market data) with structured daily compensation and predictable weekday scheduling.

Active South Carolina license required — no licensing candidates accepted.
Assignment Highlights

7:30a–3p outpatient procedures

3p–5p inpatient rounding/consults

Endoscopy center + hospital (across the street)

3–5 patients per day

2–3 procedures per week

Epic EMR

No advanced procedures required
-
No call responsibilities
-
All hours billable (orientation included)

Travel fully billable

HPA Healthcare is Joint Commission–certified
