Inpatient GI consultations

Endoscopic procedures
-
Management of hospitalized GI patients

Daily rounding on consultative service
๐ Typical Volumes

Scopes per day: 1โ2

ERCP cases: 1โ2 per week

New consults per day: 1โ2

Daily rounding census: 5โ6 patients

Proctoscopy / Flexible Sigmoidoscopy

Hemorrhoidal Banding

Upper GI Endoscopy

PEG placement

Esophageal Variceal Banding

Acute GI bleed management

Dilation

ERCP experience (strongly preferred)

EMR: Epic

Endoscopy team support with RNs and CRNAs

No NP/PA supervision required

Hospital-based call coverage only

Estimated timeframe: 60โ90 days
โ Requirements

Board Certified in Gastroenterology

State license (or ability to obtain / IMLC considered)

BLS & DEA required
-
Clean malpractice history preferred

NPDB Self-Query required at submission

Case logs required for review
