A rewarding locum Gastroenterology opportunity in a vibrant waterfront Michigan community 🌟. This role focuses on hospital-based GI coverage with ERCP, supported by hospitalists and specialty colleagues—offering a steady schedule with no weekend call and excellent work-life balance.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide 24-hour GI call coverage during the week
• Perform advanced endoscopic procedures, including ERCP
• Manage inpatient GI consults and urgent cases
• Collaborate with hospitalists and surgical teams
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
• Board Certified (or Truly Board Eligible) in Gastroenterology
• Active Michigan medical license
• ERCP experience required
• DEA registration
• Clean professional and malpractice history
Working Hours
• Monday 7:00 AM – Friday 7:00 PM
• Monday–Thursday: 24-hour call
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• No weekend call
