Description
An exciting locum Gastroenterology opportunity in a scenic Michigan community 🌲🌊. This role offers a balanced mix of endoscopy coverage, inpatient consults, and outpatient care with strong onsite support and no weekday night call—ideal for experienced GI physicians seeking flexibility and high clinical impact.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform endoscopic procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, and ERCP
• Provide inpatient GI consults and outpatient endoscopy coverage
• Manage scheduled scopes and hospital consults during daytime hours
• Participate in 24-hour weekend call coverage
• Document care using EMR and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Qualifications
• Board Certified (or Truly Board Eligible) in Gastroenterology
• Active Michigan medical license
• ERCP experience required
• Minimum 2–3 years post-fellowship experience
• ACLS and DEA required
• Clean professional background
Working Hours
• Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 24-hour weekend call (Saturday/Sunday only)
• No weekday night call
