Job Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient and outpatient GI coverage
• Perform advanced endoscopic procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, and biopsies
• Manage GI consults and call-back needs during on-call shifts
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
• Document care accurately using EMR
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Active Virginia medical license
• ERCP experience required; EUS preferred
• Clean malpractice history
• Recent NPDB self-query
Working Hours
• 24-hour on-call coverage
• Weekday and weekend coverage required
• Coverage blocks include multi-day stretches
