Gastroenterologist - Ashtabula, OH

Full-Time | Permanent | Hospital-Employed

A well-established community hospital in Ashtabula, Ohio, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join its growing employed multi-specialty group practice. This opportunity offers a strong referral base, integrated EMR access, and a structured compensation model.

Position Highlights:

  • Employed position within a multi-specialty group (60+ providers, including 20+ PCPs)
  • Outpatient Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine
  • High-volume office practice (15–20 patients per day – non-negotiable)
  • Group of 2 physicians
  • Dedicated APP and experienced clinical staff
  • Blocked OR time
  • Integrated EPIC EMR system
  • On-site lab and X-ray
  • Strong referral network from employed and affiliated primary care providers
  • Call requirement: 10 days per monthWilling to relocate
  • Open to H-1B and J-1 visa candidates
  • Not accepting locum candidates

Requirements:

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  • Ohio medical license (or in process)
  • BLS & ACLS (by start date)
  • DEA (must be obtained prior to start)
  • Most recent NPDB Self Query (within 30 days at submission)
  • Must reside within 40-mile radius or relocate
  • Visa status must be disclosed (J-1 or H-1B supported)
