Gastroenterologist - Bay City, MI
Full-Time | Permanent | 2 Positions Available
A growing health system in Bay City, Michigan, is seeking two Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologists to establish and expand a new Gastroenterology practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for physicians with strong advanced endoscopy skills looking to build and grow a program within a supportive hospital environment.
Position Highlights:
- Employed opportunity
- Emphasis on ambulatory endoscopy procedures
- Inpatient ERCP and EUS required
- Ability to specialize in ERCP and EUS is required
- New ambulatory endoscopy surgery center
- Single hospital coverage
- Shared call coverage with Hospitalist support
- Call ratio: 1:3 (includes weekends)
- Two colorectal surgeons in the community
- GI clinic located less than half a mile from the hospital
- EMR: Cerner
- Open to Locums candidates (separate locums job available)

Requirements:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Michigan medical license (or in process)
