AtlantiCare is seeking a visionary Chief of Gastroenterology to lead the development of a high-impact, academic-focused GI division in New Jersey. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced gastroenterologist to combine clinical excellence, research, and education while shaping the future of GI care across the region.

👩‍⚕️ Role Overview

• Lead and expand a cutting-edge Gastroenterology program aligned with AtlantiCare’s Vision 2030 strategy
• Build an academic GI division with a focus on research, education, and advanced clinical care
• Recruit, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team, including GI faculty, fellows, hospitalists, and support staff
• Serve as a hands-on clinical leader managing complex GI cases and ensuring high-quality outcomes
• Drive collaboration across specialties, including oncology and other advanced care services
• Ensure access to advanced endoscopic procedures and consistent block time for procedural volume
• Engage with underserved communities to reduce disparities in care
• Shape workforce development through mentoring and culture-building initiatives

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Active or eligible NJ medical license
• BLS, ACLS, DEA, CSR/CDS certifications
• NPDB self-query report within 30 days
