A healthcare facility in North Dakota is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for outpatient-only locum coverage. This is a procedural-focused assignment with no call responsibilities.
Coverage Dates
• June 1–5, 2026
• January 4–8, 2027
Practice Setting
• Outpatient Endoscopy Center
• No inpatient responsibilities
• No call
Schedule
• Monday – Friday
• Start as early as 7:30 AM
• End as late as 4:30 PM (includes time for charting)
• 30-minute lunch
Clinical Details
• 14–16 procedures per day
• Primary procedures:

Colonoscopy
-
EGD
• Additional procedures may include:
-
Upper GI Endoscopy (biopsy, foreign body removal, variceal injection, fulguration of bleeder)

Esophageal dilation/manometry
-
Small bowel biopsy
-
Flexible sigmoidoscopy
-
Colonoscopy with biopsy/polypectomy
Support Staff
• Dedicated CRNA in each room
• RN and endoscopy tech support
• Other physicians typically present onsite
Requirements
• Board Certified – Required
• Active ND license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA
• Clean malpractice history preferred
