- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 3 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are an average of 1 patient per shift and 8 beds in the department. We are seeking a locum provider for part-time, long-term coverage, working 2 weeks per month. The provider will primarily handle inpatient duties from 7a-7p, with night call after shifts and 24-hour weekend call coverage. If necessary, the provider may also work 1 day a week in the outpatient clinic, returning to the hospital to complete the 12-hour shift afterward. Overtime pay will apply after 12 hours per day, not after 40 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities

* Manage patient care during assigned shifts and collaborate with the healthcare team.
* Ensure timely documentation and communication with staff regarding patient updates.
Qualifications
* Previous inpatient experience required.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple patient needs.
* Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and handling high-pressure situations.
