Locums – Gastroenterology
Bismarck, North Dakota (IMLC Accepted)
Availability Needed
- November 23–29 (ending morning of November 30)
- December 23–January 3 (ending morning of January 4)
- 24-hour call coverage
- In-house for approximately 8 hours daily (procedures + rounding)
- Rounding time flexible depending on consult volume
- Solo coverage (no other Gastroenterologist onsite)
- No clinic responsibilities
- No supervision of other providers
- Hospital and call coverage only
- EMR: Epic
- No NP support
- Endoscopy suite staffed with RNs and CRNAs
- ERCP: 1–2 per week
- Other scopes: 1–2 per day
- New consults: 1–2 per day
- Rounding census: 5–6 patients per day
- Colonoscopy
- Biopsy
- Polypectomy
- Proctoscopy / Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
- Hemorrhoidal Banding
- Upper GI Endoscopy
- PEG
- Esophageal Variceal Banding
- Banding lesions (acute GI bleed management)
- Dilation
- Management of hospitalized GI patients
- ERCP – Highly Preferred (candidates with ERCP experience prioritized)
- Board Certified – Required
- North Dakota license – Pending license accepted; may obtain at offer
- IMLC – Accepted
- BLS – Required
- DEA – Required
