Join an Inpatient Gastroenterology team in Berlin, MD covering procedures and Call. This is an excellent locums opportunity for a fellowship-trained Gastroenterologist looking for consistent locum assignment. If you are seeking a stable long-term assignment with an established team and Epic EMR, this is a fantastic fit.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide Gastroenterology inpatient coverage
• Perform 14-16 procedures per day
• Participate in call coverage one weekend a month
Qualifications
• Board Certified required
• Gastroenterology Fellowship required
• Active Maryland License or IMLC
• Can commit to a long term locum assignment
• Must be able to perform 14-16 procedures per day
Working Hours
• End Date: 12/30/2026 (possibly longer)
• Monday, - Friday 7:00a to 4:00p
• Flexibility with days on overnight and weekend call
• 3 weeks in a row with a week off
• Approx. 3 consults per call shift
• Patient Volume: Approx. 16 patients per shift
Skills
• Strong procedure efficiency
• Ability to commit long term to 3 weeks a month
