Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult, hospital & outpatient
Setting: Hospital Call – Bon Secours - Memorial Regional Medical Center
Responsibilities: Provide full spectrum of gastroenterology services on hospital call shifts, including inpatient and outpatient care, procedural interventions, and consultation.
Required Procedures/Duties:

• Upper GI Endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration, variceal injection/banding, PEG)
• ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic)
• Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS, preferred)
• Colonoscopy & Sigmoidoscopy
• Esophageal dilatation/manometry
• Small bowel & liver biopsies
• Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
• Average ~8 procedures/week: GSI, Hepatology, RGA, Surgery, Colon, EGD, ERCP
  EMR System: Epic
  Support Staff: Hospital GI team
  Days Per Month: Per assigned open shifts
  On-Call/Weekends: Yes, 24-hr call per schedule
