🩺 Permanent Gastroenterology Physician – Douglasville, GA Monday–Friday | 1:3 Call | Private Practice Model

We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist for a full-time permanent opportunity in Douglasville, Georgia, just 20 minutes from Downtown Atlanta. This role offers an excellent mix of clinical autonomy, strong earning potential, and long-term partnership opportunity within a well-established GI practice.

📍 Position Overview

• Location: Douglasville, GA (coverage also includes nearby clinic location)

• Position Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

• Providers Needed: 1

• Schedule: Monday–Friday

• Call: 1:3 single-hospital call (weekends included)

• Setting: Outpatient with hospital call

• Patient Volume: ~15–18 patients per day

🏥 Clinical Scope & Procedures

• General Gastroenterology with advanced procedural exposure

• Procedures include:
  Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, EUS, Enteroscopy, Hemorrhoid Banding, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Infusion Services, Telehealth, Nutrition Counseling, TIF®, Video Capsule Endoscopy

• Collaborative environment with 5 physicians and 3 APPs

• Access to advanced ancillary services and centralized administrative support

👩‍⚕️ Candidate Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified – Gastroenterology

• Board Eligible or Board Certified – Internal Medicine

• Active Georgia medical license (or willingness to obtain)

• DEA required prior to start

• NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) required at presentation

• Clean malpractice history preferred

• Visa candidates not accepted

• Locums candidates not accepted

• New graduates accepted (through 2025)

• Previously board-certified candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
