Gastroenterology Locums - Flexible Schedule in Virginia
Practice Setting
- Hospital Call and Office/Clinic settings
- Focus on Adult, Outpatient Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine
- Lab and X-Ray services available onsite
- No trauma designation at the facility
Schedule
- Part-Time or PRN Coverage is available
- Block Scheduling available - work multiple consecutive shifts
- Choose dates that work with your schedule; weekend shifts still open
- Immediate need for a short-term assignment
Procedures and Cases
- High-acuity procedural mix with 8 cases per week average
- Required experience in ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
- Procedures include Lower GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Liver Biopsy, and Sigmoidoscopy
- Preferred experience in Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)
- Involvement in GSI, Hepatology, and RGA cases
Requirements
- Board Certified (REQUIRED)
- Active Virginia State Medical License (REQUIRED)
- Clean Malpractice history required for temporary privileges
- Must be available to cover open shifts to be considered
- Mandatory Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation
Credentialing Requirements
- Estimated Credentialing Turnaround of 90 days
