Job Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services.
- Conduct a variety of procedures including endoscopies, biopsies, and management of gastrointestinal disorders.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Epic EMR.
- Participate in hospital call rotations as required.
- Engage in ongoing communication with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Required).
- Valid Virginia medical license (Required).
- Available to cover open shifts as needed (Required).
- Experience with ERCP and proficiency in gastrointestinal procedures (Required).
- Clean malpractice history.
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation (Required).
- COVID vaccination is highly preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Must have a Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
- Virginia medical license is mandatory.
- Flu shot is required; COVID vaccination highly preferred.
- ERCP certification is mandatory; EUS is preferred.
