We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician – Gastroenterology in Virginia.

Shift: 24-hour on-call

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult
Setting: Hospital call; Outpatient clinic
Responsibilities: On-call coverage, outpatient gastroenterology and internal medicine
Required Procedures:
- Esophageal dilatation/manometry
- Esophageal manometry interpretation
- Small bowel biopsy
- Lower GI endoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy
- Colonoscopy
- Liver biopsy
- Sengstaken/Blakemore tube insertion & management
- Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
- Upper GI endoscopy (diagnostic & therapeutic, biopsy, foreign body removal, cautery/laser, variceal injection & banding, ERCP, PEG)
EMR System: Epic
Support Staff: Onsite lab & X-ray
Days Per Month: Variable
On-Call/Weekends: Yes

Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified – Required

- NPDB Self-Query report (dated within 30 days) – Required
