Job description
We are seeking a fellowship-trained Advanced Endoscopist Gastroenterologist to join a collaborative and forward-thinking gastroenterology team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This full-time, permanent opportunity offers access to advanced endoscopic technology, a fully integrated practice model, and a strong emphasis on work-life balance. Physicians will practice in a modern, patient-centered environment with seamless coordination between hospital, ambulatory surgery center, and outpatient clinic services.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform complex endoscopic interventions, including ERCP and other advanced techniques
• Manage patients across outpatient clinic, ASC, and hospital settings
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, APPs, nursing, and support staff
• Participate in a highly manageable shared call rotation
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality, and satisfaction
Qualifications
• Completion of a 4th-year Advanced Endoscopy / ERCP fellowship
• Eligible for or active Michigan medical license
• DEA registration required
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care
Working Hours
• Call coverage approximately every 8th week
