Job description
ConnectHealth has an urgent Gastroenterology call only need in Washington, Missouri with an ASAP start and ongoing coverage. This is beeper call with a 30 minute response time, scheduled as 24 hour shifts (7a to 7a). The client is moving quickly and providers who can cover multiple shifts will be prioritized. ERCP & EUS are not required for hospital ED/ call and clinic call.

Requirements
Active Missouri license and IMLC accepted
Board Certified Gastroenterology
ACLS, ATLS, BLS

Job Responsibilities
• Take beeper call coverage and respond within required timeframe
• Manage inpatient consults and GI related decision support while on call
• Provide phone consult guidance as needed
• Evaluate patients when called back on site based on clinical need
• Document care and recommendations in the EMR (Epic)
• Coordinate with nursing and hospital teams for patient care needs
Qualifications
• Board Certified Gastroenterology required
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS required
• Comfortable with call only coverage in a hospital based setting
• Able to commit to multiple 24 hour shifts as scheduled
• Epic experience preferred

• 24 hour shifts 7a to 7a
• Beeper call with 30 minute response time
• Call ratio 1:3
• Start ASAP with ongoing coverage needs
• Requested 24 hour dates
