We are seeking a full-time Gastroenterology Physician to join a well-established, high-volume GI practice in Durango, CO. This opportunity offers immediate procedural volume with no ramp period, strong earning potential, and a clear, near-term path to ownership in both the GI practice and a physician-owned surgical hospital.


From day one, providers have the autonomy to tailor their scope mix, clinic load, and schedule, allowing for a practice model aligned with individual clinical interests and lifestyle goals.


Position Highlights:

  • Immediate procedural volume — no ramp-up period
  • Strong, stable referral base
  • Ability to scope 2 days per week initially, scaling up to 4 days per week
  • Flexible scheduling with no mandatory call
  • Optional paid hospital call available
  • Clear and attainable path to equity in both the practice and surgical hospital

Schedule & Call: Full-time position with flexible scheduling. No mandatory call requirements. Optional, compensated hospital call available


Requirements:

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical institution
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology fellowship
  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Eligible for Colorado medical licensure
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $450,000 - $650,000 guaranteed compensation in Year 1, plus signing bonus
