Job description
Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist to provide locum services in Walla Walla, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity for a Physician looking for flexible scheduling and a rewarding work environment. Coverage is needed starting March 1, 2026, and is ongoing for long-term, part-time coverage (2 weeks per month).
Job Details:

Case Types: Upper GI endoscopy (biopsy, fulguration, foreign body removal, injection of varices), Esophageal dilatation/manometry, Small Bowel biopsy, and Colonoscopy.

Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient; (Level 3 Trauma Center).

Schedule: 2 weeks per month; primarily inpatient 7a–7p with night call and 24-hour weekend call.

Support: Strong collaborative environment with 2 RNs, 2 MAs, and 2 PA/NPs.

EMR System: EPIC.
Requirements:

Active Board Certification in Gastroenterology.

State License in Washington (or active IMLC).

Active DEA.

Experience with standard GI procedures required.
