We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for an immediate, ongoing engagement. This role offers a traditional blend of clinical practice and hospital call, allowing for a comprehensive practice experience with a manageable credentialing timeline.
Position Overview
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Clinic + Call
- Credentialing: 60-day timeline
Clinical & System Details
- EMR: MediTech
- Practice Scope: Inpatient and outpatient Gastroenterology.
- Procedures: Standard GI procedures including EGD and Colonoscopy (additional advanced procedures like ERCP/EUS are a plus, depending on facility needs).
Candidate Requirements
- Certification: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Gastroenterology.
- Life Support: Active ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
- Licensure: Active state medical license (as per facility location).
- Proficiency: Comfortable managing both a scheduled clinic patient load and acute inpatient GI consults while on call.
