Excellent locum opportunity for a Gastroenterologist to provide weekday call coverage in a hospital-based GI program. This role offers ongoing coverage needs through 2026, strong hospitalist support, and a balanced schedule with no weekend call.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide GI call coverage and inpatient consult support
• Perform GI procedures including ERCP (required)
• Manage acute GI cases and callback procedures as needed
• Collaborate with hospitalists, surgeons, and care teams
• Support clinic and hospital-based GI services as required
Qualifications
• Board Certified Gastroenterology (Truly BE considered)
• Active Michigan License
• ERCP Experience Required
• DEA Required
• Clean Malpractice History
• Recent NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days)
Working Hours
• Monday – Thursday: 24-Hour Call (7 AM – 7 AM)
• Friday: 7 AM – 7 PM
• No Weekend Call
