Coverage Needed
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Schedule: 1-2 weeks per month, 12-hour shifts (8A-8P) with 12 hours of on-call (8P-8A)
- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call
Clinical Details
- Practice Setting: Inpatient
- EMR System: Epic
- Support Staff: 1 PA/NP
- Bed Size: 239
- Patients Per Shift: 15-20
- Call Type: Beeper
- Call Response Time Required: 15 min
- Average Calls Per 24 Hr: 0-10
- Average Call Back: 1-3 times overnight per week
- Procedures: Upper GI endoscopy, Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), Liver biopsy, and more
Requirements
- Board Certification: Eligible
- Fellowship: Required in Gastroenterology and Advanced Endoscopy
- License: Licensed in OK or IMLC
- ACLS: Yes
- Experience: At least 200 therapeutic ERCP procedures, 40 sphincterotomies, and 10 stent placements in the past 12 months or completion of training in the past 12 months
- Supervision: Required to supervise Advance Practice Providers
- Temporary Privileges: Available
