Locums | Gastroenterology | Call | Fortuna, CA Why This Role

  • Long-term locum opportunity supporting an ongoing permanent search
  • Balanced mix of clinic, procedures, and call coverage
  • Established support team with MA and APP coverage
Assignment Details Start date May 1, 2026 Ongoing coverage Scheduled clinical hours with night and weekend call Weekday clinic with night call; 24-hour weekend call coverage 8 guaranteed hours per day, OT after 9 hours per day (preapproval required) Clinical Details Inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology coverage Average 12–16 patients per day Procedural focus including upper and lower endoscopy Epic EMR ERCP required; EUS preferred Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of residency Active California medical license Active DEA ERCP required Fluoroscopy required (temporary acceptable with permanent to follow) BLS required Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based GI experience Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
