We are seeking a BE/BC Advanced Endoscopy Trained Gastroenterologist to join its practice.

  • Supporting two rural Critical Access hospitals – 25 beds each

The mission is to train future healthcare professionals to embrace responsibility for the unique needs of rural and hard-to-reach communities and populations, particularly those in East Texas.

The school offers a robust Graduate Medical Education program, with 20 residency and fellowship training programs, enabling graduates to gain specialized skills in areas such as family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, psychiatry, surgery, and anesthesia. Additionally, Biotechnology program provides students with an interdisciplinary curriculum that emphasizes medical research and biotechnology innovation, preparing them for careers in medical research, diagnostics and therapeutic development.


About the Facilities:

25-bed critical access hospitals offering 24-hour emergencies designated as a Level IV trauma center and Level III Stroke Center; surgical suites, advanced diagnostic technology, sleep lab, and swing bed care to the communities they serve. Joint Commission Accredited, UT Health Pittsburg was recently named a "Top 123 Hospital of 2023" by The LeapFrog Group.

It is comprised of 10 hospitals, more than 90 clinics, the Olympic Plaza Tower, 13 regional rehabilitation facilities, two freestanding emergency centers, regional home health services covering 41 counties, an EMS fleet of more than 50 ambulances and four helicopters, and a comprehensive seven-trauma center care network, including the region’s only Level 1 trauma facility. In 2024, we also added six Urgent Care clinics to our network. Our team includes nearly 400 employed providers and more than 7,000 team members.
