Join Our Team as a Locum - Physician - Gastroenterology in Lakewood, CO

As a key member of our locum team, you'll deliver essential services including ERCP, EUS, endoscopy, and management of GI problems, ensuring quality patient outcomes while enjoying flexible scheduling and competitive compensation. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a Level 1 Trauma and Inpatient setting with ongoing coverage needs into 2025.

Required Skills:
  • Active medical license in Colorado or IMLC
  • Board-certified or eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Proven experience in ERCP, EUS, and general endoscopy procedures
  • Proficient in using Epic EMR system
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, inpatient environment

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in a Level 1 Trauma hospital
  • Familiarity with hospital-based GI consults
  • Bilingual abilities a plus (please specify)

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO)
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-residency gastroenterology experience
  • Prior locum or hospital-based practice preferred

Other Requirements:
  • Must complete credentialing process, including pre-application and full application submissions
  • EMR training completion prior to first shift
  • Willingness to stay at designated preferred lodging options
  • Availability for 5-7 days per month, with upcoming dates specified
  • Must be able to work 24-hour call shifts (7 AM – 7 AM) with callback hours as needed
  • Travel preferences considered; local drive-in candidates highly preferred
  • Must possess current licensure, NPDB report, and appropriate credentialing documentation
