Coverage type: Schedule clinical hours plus call
Credentialing timeframe: 90 - 120 days
Practice Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient (both required)
EMR System: Epic
Hospital Stroke Certified: Yes
Schedule & Coverage:
Weekday Clinic:
- 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM or 7:40 AM – 3:40 PM (Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch)
Night Call:
- Begins at 5:00 PM through the following morning
Weekend Call:
- 24-hour coverage
Office Days:
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with 1-hour lunch
- Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours/day
- Overtime: Applies after 9 hours/day (must be pre-approved)
Patient Volume:
- 12–16 patients per shift (No admissions or rounding required)
Call Details:
- Call Type: Beeper; Call Coverage: Both weekday and weekend; Response Time: 20–30 minutes
Support Staff:
- Medical Assistants: 3, PA/NPs: 1, Office Staff: 4
Required Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)
- Active California medical license
- Active DEA
- BLS required
- Minimum 2 years of current hospital-based clinical activity
- Gaps in practice greater than 3 months must be explained

- ERCP – Required
- Fluoroscopy – Required
