• Urgent locum coverage required for inpatient Gastroenterology service
• 24-hour call coverage with ongoing monthly needs
• High-acuity setting requiring advanced GI procedures
• Coverage needed due to staffing gaps and provider breaks
On Call (Daily) – $4,400; - “Per 24 hours to include 8 hours gratis"
Call Back: $460/hr
Average callback hours: 12.7 hours
• 24-hour call coverage with ongoing monthly needs
• High-acuity setting requiring advanced GI procedures
• Coverage needed due to staffing gaps and provider breaks
On Call (Daily) – $4,400; - “Per 24 hours to include 8 hours gratis"
Call Back: $460/hr
Average callback hours: 12.7 hours
Job Responsibilities
• Perform ERCP, EUS, endoscopy, and scoping procedures
• Manage GI bleeds and acute GI conditions
• Participate in 24-hour call coverage (7a–7a)
• Coordinate care with intensivists and hospitalists
Qualifications
• Gastroenterology Fellowship – REQUIRED
• Active Colorado license or IMLC with LOQ – REQUIRED
• Active DEA – REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice and background – REQUIRED
Working Hours
• 5–7 days per month, ongoing
• Open dates include Feb, July, and Aug–Sept blocks
Skills
• Advanced endoscopy and GI scoping
• Acute GI bleed management
• Inpatient consult-based care
• EPIC EMR proficiency
