Gastroenterologist – Central New York - 1 hour from Syracuse; 4 hours from NYC and Boston

Opportunity Highlights

  • Seeking BC/BE Gastroenterologist to help build and grow a new Gastroenterology service line
  • Plan to recruit 3–4 Gastroenterologists to establish a comprehensive GI department
  • Advanced endoscopic procedures welcome but not required
  • Predictable schedule with strong collegial support and internal referrals
  • Collaborative environment with experienced BC/BE physician partners across specialties
  • Inpatient and outpatient practice mix supported by modern facilities
  • Visa support available (J-1 candidates welcome)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive guaranteed base salary: $480,000–$530,000 (MGMA-aligned)
  • Two-year employed agreement with opportunity to transition to shareholder status
  • Lower Upstate New York malpractice insurance environment
