Schedule:
- Preferred: Week on / Week off (flexible)
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Shift Type: Day shift only
Facility is ideally seeking 1.0 FTE and is open to 2–3 providers rotating to cover the schedule.
Location: Wisconsin Rapids, WI
Practice Overview:
- Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consults
- APC support in clinic
- Average inpatient census:
- 28–30 Med/Surg patients
- 3–4 ICU/IMCU patients
- Procedure volume:10–14 procedures per day
- Three brand-new endoscopy suites with highly skilled, efficient endoscopy teams
Anesthesia available for conscious sedation on select days/blocks (staffing adjusted based on confirmed dates)
Procedures (Preferred):
- Upper GI endoscopy (biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, variceal injection)
- Lower GI endoscopy (sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy with biopsy and polypectomy)
- PEG placement
- Esophageal dilation and manometry (including interpretation)
- Small bowel biopsy
- Liver biopsy
- Sengstaken–Blakemore tube management
Not Required
- ERCP and (EUS)
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Fellowship trained
- BLS & ACLS required
