A hospital-based GI program in Wisconsin Rapids is seeking a Gastroenterologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage. This is a clinic and scheduled-procedures-only opportunity with no call, strong endoscopy support, and flexibility to accommodate rotating providers.

Assignment Details ASAP start Ongoing need Open to week-on/week-off scheduling Facility is open to multiple providers Ideal coverage model is 1.0 FTE, with 2–3 providers rotating

Schedule Day shift: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. No call Day 1 orientation provided

Practice Setting Clinic and scheduled procedure setting only Admissions required APC support available in clinic

Clinic and Procedure Mix Preferred schedule of 1 clinic day and 4 procedure days per week Flexible scheduling available ERCP and EUS not required and not performed at this facility

Procedure Volume and Support Typically 10–14 procedures per day Three brand-new endoscopy suites Highly skilled and efficient endoscopy teams Anesthesia available for conscious sedation Anesthesia coverage available on certain days and blocks, with flexibility to up-staff based on confirmed dates

Inpatient Details Average inpatient census: 28–30 MSP ICU/IMCU census: 3–4 patients Six ICU beds Eight IMCU beds

Requirements Board Certified – Required Fellowship trained – Required ACLS and BLS – Required
