Locums Gastroenterologist Opportunity - Wisconsin Rapids, WI - $400 per hour on 1099

Key Details:

• Upper GI Endoscopy with Biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser) preferred
• Esophageal dilatation/manometry preferred
• Esophageal manometry interpretation preferred
• Small Bowel biopsy preferred
• Lower GI endoscopy preferred
• Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp preferred

Requirements:

• Board Status: Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Active WI State License
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Other Details:

• Open to a week on/week off. 8am-5pm day shift. No call. Clinic and scheduled procedures only.
• APC support in the clinic. Would prefer 1 day in clinic and 4 procedure days. This could be flexible.
• The daily schedule usually starts at 8 AM, ends at 5 pm. Day 1 orientation, EPIC support. Ideally, looking for a total of 1.0 FTE, so with that model, perhaps we could find 2 or 3 providers to rotate.
• Clinic and procedure setting. ERCP and EUS not required; not performed at this facility.
• Inpatient census averages 28-30 MSP and 3-4 in ICU/IMCU. For procedures, usually 10-14 are done per day.
• Have three brand new endo suites and very skilled/efficient endo teams.
• There are six ICU beds and 8 IMCU beds. Anesthesia is available for conscious sed. Anesthesia would be available on certain days during certain blocks.
• Depending on dates confirmed, we would try to up-staff to make Anesthesia available at different times. Act 10 is acceptable.
