- Reason for opening: Gap in coverage
- Type of privileges (clinic/hospital/both): Hospital and clinic
- Setting: Inpatient, Outpatient or Both? Both
- Schedule Details - 24 hour call shifts – About 14 to 21 shifts per month with an average of 6 hours of call back per day
- If Inpatient, # of beds: 350
- Call requirement: Position is call only
- Rounding, admissions, or none? Both - Rounding will likely be daily, depending on census. When not rounding or performing procedures, provider can be offsite until called back in.
- Patient demographics: Adults
- Average patients per day: 8-12
- Required Procedures: Colonoscopy, EGD
- Required clinical activity in the last 24 months (case logs): Applicant must provide documentation (case list) of provision of clinical services (100 patients) representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous 24 months. Case list must include diagnosis or procedure and date, and facility where performed.
- For ERCP: Applicant must have performed at least 100 ERCP procedures
- AND Applicant must provide documentation (case list) of at least 40 ERCP procedures performed in the previous 24 months
- Will provider work solo? No, there are other providers and APC. We have onsite APC support during the day on weekdays. Currently, no nights or weekend APC coverage but we are working towards getting that support on the weekends.
- Licensed Candidate: Yes, candidates need to be WA licensed or have an IMLC.
- Required certifications (Must be from American Heart Association or American Red Cross as applicable): BLSC and ERCP
- EMR: EPIC
