Job description
Seeking a Locum Gastroenterologist to provide 24-hour inpatient call coverage. Responsibilities include rounding, consults, ED call, endoscopy, and ERCP (highly preferred). Clean malpractice history required for expedited privileges.
Job Responsibilities
Manage bread-and-butter inpatient Gastroenterology cases
Perform endoscopic procedures (ERCP highly preferred)
Provide ED call and support
Work with dedicated inpatient GI APP support team
Document using Epic EMR
Qualifications
Kentucky License (Highly Preferred) – IMLC accepted
ERCP experience (Highly Preferred – must be stated clearly)
ACLS & DEA required
Clean malpractice/background required
Availability at time of name clear required
Working Hours
14 days/month – 7 on / 7 off
Start: ASAP – ongoing until permanent provider is hired
