Job Details

- Provider Type Needed: Gastroenterologist
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, clinic and GI procedures (colonoscopy and EGD); Mon–Tue may be clinic or procedures; Wed–Fri primarily procedures; Friday can be half or full day based on GI suite availability; optional one weekday call; no weekends
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform upper GI endoscopy, including:
- Biopsy
- Foreign body removal
- Fulguration of bleeder (cautery or laser)
- Injection of varices
- Conduct small bowel biopsy
- Perform lower GI endoscopy
- Conduct colonoscopy, including:
- Biopsy
- Excision of polyp
- Provide both clinic and procedural care as scheduled
Additional Information
- Wisconsin medical license required
- Board certification in Gastroenterology required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Fellowship training preferred
