Job Responsibilities

• Provide weekend call coverage in a hospital setting
• Perform procedures such as esophageal dilatation, small bowel biopsy, various GI endoscopies, and liver biopsy
• Utilize EMR: Epic for patient documentation
• Participate in both inpatient and some outpatient care as necessary

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Active VA medical license required
• Clean malpractice history required for temporary privileges
• ERCP experience required; EUS experience preferred
• Up-to-date with flu shot and COVID vaccination highly preferred

Working Hours

• Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM, covering weekends

• Proficient in a variety of gastroenterological procedures
• Experience with EMR systems, preferably Epic
