Locums | Gastroenterology | Clinic + Endoscopy | Rockport, ME (IMLC accepted) Why This Role

  • Full-time weekday schedule
  • Mix of clinic, endoscopy, and daytime inpatient consults
  • Ongoing need with multiple weeks of coverage through July 2026
Assignment Details Dates: - Feb 9–13, 2026 - Feb 16–20, 2026 - Mar 30–Apr 3, 2026 - Apr 27–May 1, 2026 - May 4–8, 2026 - May 25–29, 2026 - Jun 1–5, 2026 - Jun 22–26, 2026 - Jun 29–Jul 3, 2026 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour days (7a–4p) with 30-minute lunch Coverage Type: Clinic + Endoscopy + daytime consults Call: None Patient Volume: 14–16 per day in clinic Setting: Outpatient clinic + inpatient daytime consults + endoscopy Procedures: Upper and lower GI endoscopy, biopsies, foreign body removal, variceal banding Advanced Procedures: Preferred but not required EMR: Epic Support Staff: Full OR staff plus CRNA and anesthesiologist support Credentialing Timeframe: ~90 days Availability Requirement: Must be available for all listed dates and at least one week per month ongoing Clinical Details Mix of outpatient GI and inpatient daytime consults Endoscopy performed in OR; one clinic day per week expected Adults only Onsite lab and imaging ERCP not required Requirements Board Certified in Gastroenterology Active ME license or active IMLC ACLS and BLS required Ability to cover all posted dates Comfort with general GI procedures COVID and flu vaccination required Please note advanced GI skills, if applicable Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
