Locums – Longmont, Colorado, Gastroenterologist Job (IMLC Welcome)

Schedule / Availability Requirements: All shifts below end the following morning at 7:00 a.m.

• January 15

• March 9–15

• April 20–26

• May 18–24

• June 4–8

• June 11–21

• Ongoing dates starting July 2026

Coverage Details:

• 24-hour call (7a–7a)

• 30-minute onsite response time

• Setting: Inpatient, Call

• Trauma Level III

• FTE: 4.0

Required Procedures / Job Duties:

• Endoscopy

• GI Bleed management

• Evaluation of GI concerns

EMR: EPIC

Support Staff:

• RN

• Call team for endoscopy

Reason for Coverage:

• Limited coverage

EMR Required Training:

• Modules (learn lessons): Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training.

• Virtual EMR (PPL) Training: Modules must be completed beforehand; virtual training must be finished at least 1 week prior to first day.

• First Day Details: Released only after EMR modules + training are completed.

Facility & Patient Details:

• Patient population: Adult, Adolescent

• Number of beds: 60

• PPD: 1–2

• 24-hour hospitalist admissions team

• Interventional Radiology: Available 8–4, Monday–Friday

• Permanent GI physicians: 1

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology – Required

• Active CO license or IMLC (LOQ in hand at submission) – Required

• Active DEA – Highly preferred; required for credentialing

• Must be able to offer and work 3 consecutive 24-hour shifts (7a–7a) – Required

• Local / drive-in candidates – Highly Preferred

• Gastroenterology Fellowship – Required

• Clean malpractice and background – Required
