Are you a Gastroenterology physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in Wisconsin might be the perfect fit for you!
Opportunity Highlights
- Schedule: Monday-Friday. Monday-Tuesday combination of clinic and procedures or clinic only (clinic shifts are 8 hours) Wednesday-Friday typically all procedures with no clinic. Friday may be half day or full day of procedures depending on GI suite availability. Call available one day per week if interested. No weekends.
- Job Setting: Hospital - Clinic and GI procedures including colonoscopy and EGD.
- Types of Cases: 15 patient encounters per shift. Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices. Small bowel biopsy. Lower GI endoscopy. Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp. Sigmoidoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, liver biopsy, and insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube preferred.
- Credentialing: 60-90 days
Minimum Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Eligible
- Certifications: BLS
- Licensure: Wisconsin license required. Act 10 acceptable. IMLC not accepted. Fellowship required (2 years).

- Available Dates: January 12-23, February 2-13, March 9-27, additional weeks available through 2026
