Clinical Details
- Practice Setting: Inpatient

- Call Type: In-House
- Call Response Time Required: 30 mins
- Phone Consults: 10-25
- Specialty Skills Preferred:
- Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, injection of varices
- ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography)
- Diagnostic and Therapeutic procedures
- PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy)
- Esophageal dilatation/manometry and interpretation
- Small Bowel biopsy
- Lower GI endoscopy including sigmoidoscopy, flexible and rigid colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp
- Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS)
- Liver biopsy
- Insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
Requirements
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology
- Active Indiana license, CSR, and DEA
- ABLS and BLS certifications required
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30-45 days
